Guangzhou is located in the province of Guangdong and is also its capital city. In English Guang Zhou is known as Canton same in French. The population of Guang Zhou is considered to be over 9,7 million. The city of Guang Zhou is well known to business people, there are a large number of industries in the area as scooters industry production. At the place known as Guangzhou, the first known city which was built was known as Panyu and later it was simply called Poon and later it was simply called Poon u and this was 214 BC. With the Treaty of Nanking ended Guangzhou’s monopoly on English trade. Some well known buildings in Guang Zhou are: IFP Tower, Guang Zhou Opera House, Guangdong Olympic Stadium, CITIC Plaza, and Pearl River Tower.
