One of the things that make Egypt interesting is its fabulous architecture. Egypt is a country full of mysteries and history. The Egyptian architecture is something that attracts a large number of tourists to the country. One of the well known and well preserved Egyptian architecture is the Temple of Horus at Edfu. The two main materials which were in ancient Egypt were mud bricks and stone. The old houses of Egypt were made of mud collected from the Nile River. Other architectural monuments in Egypt are the pyramids of Egypt. The Pyramids of Giza located not far from the capital city Cairo are one of the most visited places of Egypt. The ancient monuments consist of the Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre and Pyramid of Menkaure. The famous temple of Karnak is well known for its architecture which consists of four parts, the precinct of Amon, the precinct of Montu, the precinct of Mut and the Temple of Amenhotep IV. The Luxor Temple is also well known for its architectural stucture.
