Egyptian believes deeply in gods and goddesses, even more the ancient Egyptian. For the ancient Egyptians it was very important to worship god and goddesses, this made part of their daily life. Each gods or goddesses had their own role to play in the ancient Egypt as to maintain harmony and peace in the country. It is said that Nun first existed which was the dark waters of chaos, then there was Ben-Ben a hill that raised from the waters, and on this hill was standing the first called Atum, when he coughed came out the god of air, Shu and the goddess of moisture Tefnut, they got 2 children Geb and Nut, god of eartn and goddess of sky. Nephthys, Osiris, Seth and Isis were the four children of Geb and Nut. Osiris was the king of earth but Seth was jealous of him and Seth one day killed Osiris and became the king of the underworld where he got a son, Horus who fighted against Seth and to regain the throne which he did successfully.
