The famous Kurfurstendamm is an avenue which runs between Rathenauplatz
and Breitscheidplatz and Berlin’s main commercial street. The Berliners
call the Kurfurstendamm the Ku’damm. Originally the avenue was a road
used by Joachim II used to ride his horse between the castle and his
hunting estate in Grunewald. In the nineteenth century Bismarck had the
avenue paved and widened it to rival to Champ Elysées in Paris. It is a
great place where a lot of visitors like to go and to do their shopping
to drink a coffee. All along the avenue are cinemas, fashionable shops,
theatres, hotels, restaurants. If you want to be entertained the
Kurfurstendamm is the right place. So just enjoy your night!
