Kenya is located in the African continent on the eastern side of Africa along the Indian Ocean. In East Africa is found nineteen territories, some of the countries in the eastern part of Africa are: Burundi, Tanzania, Rwanda, and Urganda. The capital city is Nairobi. The official languages are Swahili and English. Kenya is a country rich in history as many other countries in the African continent. To tell a bit about the prehistory about Kenya, there are fossils from giant crocodile which has been discovered which dates from the Mesozoic Era. The Mesozoic Era forms part of the three geologic eras of Phanerozoic eon. The fossils have been found near Lake Turkana by a group from the University of Utah and the National Museums of Kenya. It is said that the Portuguese were the first Europeans who explored the region. Kenya is for sure a country that should be visited during a trip in Africa.
