Mauritius is known as the paradise of the Indian Ocean and is well known for its white sandy beaches surrounding the small island. It is allowed to swim in almost all lagoon of the island, there are some beaches said to be dangerous for swimmers. Well known in the north is the Grand Bay beach and Grand Bay is also a tourist area and was in the past the place for shopping but with time all around has become quite touristic too. In the west part of Mauritius is well known Flic en Flac, a small fishing village and its beach, Le Morne also popular in the western part. Lot of tourist visit Mauritius because of its beaches and it is known to have peaceful and relaxing holidays in the island, there is also the night life well in Grand Bay by the locals too.
